A native Austinite and proud Longhorn, Stacey oversees communications, including media relations, branding, outreach, and digital content creation, for the School of Architecture. She holds a M.A. in Museum Studies from New York University and a B.S. in Advertising from The University of Texas at Austin.
Prior to joining the School of Architecture, Stacey served as Outreach Manager at Sherry Matthews Advocacy Marketing, where she oversaw experiential and grassroots marketing efforts for clients such as Don't Mess With Texas and Baylor Scott & White Health, and as Public Relations and Marketing Manager at the Blanton Museum of Art, where she penned the tagline, "Curiosity Welcome."
Outside of the office, Stacey is an active community volunteer. She is a graduate of Leadership Austin’s Emerge Class of 2014, and currently serves on the Education Committee for Preservation Austin as well as the Marketing Advisory Committee for Leadership Austin. From 2014-2016, Stacey served on the board of the Austin Museum Partnership as co-chair for Austin Museum Day, where she helped quadruple sponsorship funding, introduce a media outreach strategy, and increase visitorship by approximately 10,000.
