Dear School of Architecture Community,
All of you should have received a text this morning informing you that the campus is closed today with the exception of essential personnel. Those individuals have been contacted.
We understand that some of you may have items here at school that you need and you are welcome to come by and pick these up, but please do not congregate or linger. We also recognize that some classes still have mid-term reviews today. Those scheduled for today must be cancelled, and we ask for professors to consider alternate means and methods for reviewing material either later or on-line.
This is a rapidly changing situation. I will be writing today with more information about our path going forward, and I ask that everyone pay close attention to the communications coming from the school and from the university. Always check the university’s central site for the latest information:
And always check my e-mail communications about the school. All of my e-mails to you will start with the title COVID-19 Update with time and date to be sure that you recognize that they are urgent communications.
Besides the e-mails coming from me, we have converted the landing page of our web site to serve as an archive of these communications and a repository for information. We will be working further on that site today.
Please be on the alert for future messages that I will be sending out today.
Take care and be safe,
